~Even though it is the middle of the day, I'm the only one in this house awake now. Le-Le and all the kitties sleep. It is bright and sunny outside, but the wind is cold and it's blowing and howling like it was midnight on the fucking moors.

Mercury went Retrograde on Saturday night around half eleven. I could feel it when I woke up a few hours later. With all the political insanity that is coming to boil, I think something is going to pop. I thought I 'knew' what, but now I am uncertain. But something is coming and, given all the players, it will probably be pretty fucking awful.

I am emotionally drained and fighting off my usual Holiday Depression. I tried working on The Liber, but right now I simply do not have it in me. I've also realized it needs more work than I'd been thinking. Whole sections need serious editing /sigh

Anyway, that's my story for now and I'm sticking to it...
nebris: (The Temple 2)
~I am slowly [albeit very slowly] but steadily making progress on the Liber Sorores.

I did the required edit on the Preface regarding my mother's death.

Original text: "Some may think it obvious that I have a few 'mother issues', but as my mother is still alive in her big house in Beverly Hills - at least as of this writing - I shall not unpack her laundry here in these pages."

Revised text: "Some may think it obvious that I have a few 'mother issues'...and I will confess to such. My mother was an intelligent, talented and beautiful woman who never got to have her own life. She died in a gilded cage – a sixteen room house on top of a hill in Beverly Hills – imprisoned in an abusive relationship with a brilliant sociopath and the alcoholism that engendered. In the last decades of her life she'd become fully Stockholmed by that abuse and the 'enemy' of those who tried to free her."

This is about rewrites, so I'll skip getting the emotional impact of all that, not that I've figured it out yet anyway.

I also did some writing on the structure of The First Karaal etc. This too needs a serious edit and will probably go in Part Five: “Building a New Matriarchy – Tactical Initiatives”.

"A Nedo [Nest]

Think of something like an oval shaped football [soccer] stadium, only the sides are steeper and seven to ten stories high. That is the general shape and size of a Sisterhood Nedo. Because it is in the desert, those seven to ten stories are underground, but the top is open to the sky.

Think of how the Guggenheim museum looks. A Nedo is similar, but is not a spiral. Instead each level has a balcony walkway the goes all the way around the oval. All along the balconies will be built-in planters for flowers and vines.

At one end of the oval is a waterfall that drops from just above the highest level all the way down to a park and stream at bottom in the center. This will cool the Nedo and provide moisture in the dry desert. It is part of a larger water circulation system, making the Nedo what is known as a Hydropolis or 'water city'.

At the other end of the oval is an above ground band shell shaped annex of two or three stories that is part of the Nedo's structure, with the open faced portion looking out upon the Nedo itself. That is where it's communal areas [dining, meetings etc] are and also the Nedo's administrative offices.

The Sister's living quarters face outward on each level, fronted by the balcony walkway. They'll have floor to ceiling windowed doors to allow the light in. The quarters are large and have high ceilings.

The overall aesthetic is South Western Adobe, with brightly colored murals and mosaics, all in flowing lines. Very few right angles in this structure. The idea is to create a safe solid womb like ambiance.

The open top will have both Plexiglas and steel segmented shutters which can be used as necessary. But most of the time, the 'roof' will remain open.

There will be many tunnels branching off to various underground facilities [swimming pools, gyms, 'operations rooms', maintenance, water cisterns, etc] and to other Nedos."

Meantime, I've got a file on my desktop titled “Victim Feminism”, a subject that bubbles in my head a lot and which certainly needs to be addressed within the context of The Sisterhood. I have already called it 'a handmaiden of Patriarchy', but that requires rather more specificity. Not sure where it will go just yet.

As ever, more shall be Revealed.

~I had planned to create all The Explanation e-mail files yesterday, but 'things got in the way'. Most of them are not relevant to the Work...except for one. The novella that shall comprise the bulk of Part Seven – “One Possible Future” suddenly started to 'talk to me'..loudly, so I'm running with that. As it's the opening section I'll add to the Part Seven – “One Possible Future” text. I'll keep y'all appraised of developments.

..and so it is.
nebris: (The Temple 2)
~Y'all will see I've re-posted nearly all of the parts of The Explanation out of Blogpot and into Live Journal and Dreamwidth. Haven't done Part Eight: Summation because it's a fucking mess at the moment nor either 'Addendum' because I need to transfer graphics with them and I'm too tired to fuck with that right now.

I found this quote to myself from about two years ago, “Writing a Holy Book is no fucking joke and some of the damned things take several authors and two or three centuries to finish, so chill the fuck out, dude!” I'd say that is a good thing to keep in mind. It was been roughly six years now that I've been working on the thing. We've endured a lot of shit in that time.

Speaking of time...”This day is designated as The Temple's birthday because it was on this day eleven years ago that the words The Temple of The Pentavalent were first written down and that seem an appropriate enough landmark as such was an 'invocation' in my books.

The Context: I was residing in a sober living house in West LA marking time while waiting for my Section Eight Housing to come through. I was a year into being homeless and coming up on ten years of Sobriety, which made living with newcomers a bit of a nightmare. At any given moment, I had ten times more Sober Time than every other resident combined. And I confess I've never had much patience with Active User Drama, even back when I myself was using.

The Specificity: Back in March of that year, while I was still in the Santa Monica Shelter, I'd had a long phone call with my dear Kat. I'd just had the final confrontation with Amy, the very last Candidate for being The One I've been involved with, and was bitching and moaning about her fecklessness, although that was not among the words I used to describe her at the time.

Kat said, more or less, "She doesn't deserve you...you should really have twenty women." She called that a 'house of twenty' or H20. We laughed about that..and it got filed away.

I cannot remember exactly what brought that up those few months later. Probably something to do with one of the various phone sex relationships I was having with gals I'd met on-line. There were three during this period, all very intense early twentysomething 'sub gals', each of which I remember quite clearly. [I should expound upon them one day, not here or now]”

That chuck of text is three years old, but it's still completely valid. I actually am in rather better shape than I was when I wrote it. That was a day short of two months after we'd had to abandon our old house on Sonja Drive and we were still pretty fried by that move and the whole series of events that led up to it.

*seven hours pass*

I suppose I should finish this up and post it while it is still August 30th.

While I work on a big monitor, I note that many of you do your Internet from an iPad or iPhone, so I'm taking the parts of The Explanation I've posted so far and making 'e-mail ready' messages that each contain the entire text of each part to make it easier to read on those devices. If you're interested, send me your e-mail addy in a PM on whatever platform you're reading this and I'll send them to you in numbered, ordered sequence.

...and so it is.

Edit: Okay, I posted Addendum A [Calendar for A New Matriarchy] above and Addendum B [The Temple's Flag] too, but only here, not on LJ because the flag would get lost against the black background.

~I just did a modest edit on Part Two: The End of Men. It was mostly a few bits leftover from Part Eight: Summation, which is itself undergoing a major overhaul. There is plenty of other stuff to say, but I'm not up for any of that at the moment,

...and there you have it.
nebris: (The Temple 2)
~A year has passed since the last State of The Explanation post and a number of things have been sorted out in the interim. Over the course of that year I decided to leave Part Four:“Building a New Matriarchy – Grand Strategy” largely as is – though it does need some tinkering – and put all the epistemological heavy lifting in Part Eight – “Summation”. I just did a major edit/rewrite of the Preface. And I've been slowly, but steadily working on the novella that shall constitute the entirely new Part Seven – “One Possible Future”.

As I said last time, "the entrees at E Speaks are ‘finalized’, though I’m sure I’ll fiddle with them a bit more. [I have and will] The entrees at Blogspot are still being edited, rewritten, worked on, etc. except for The Trikona which I’m fairly happy with. The Addendums are complete as is. [The titles as listed here are the final titles]" For the most part - with one major exception and few minor ones - that is still the case." That is unchanged, though I am going to shift all the Blogspot entrees to LJ and DW.

I did make one major structural change. The Basic Tenets now come before the Preface. I believe that will give the latter greater context.

~I had become unhappy with the 'flippancy' of this in that previous year. A few days before this posting I did a major edit/rewrite. The beginning and the end are still mostly the same. But the 'overly flippant' portion in the middle that bothered me is gone, replace by more extensive and far tougher text.

EDIT on 4/11/14: ~I was just reading through Part Four: “Building a New Matriarchy – Grand Strategy” and I realized that the thing actually works 'as is'...which brought up the dilemma of what to do about the required “critiquing and expounding upon the work of four of the most important Writers and Thinkers of Second Wave Feminism” etc. To stick all that into Part Four could actually distract and even derail the 'narrative thrust'. It IS some pretty heavy intellectual lifting, which is a big part of why I've been 'stuck'.

But it came to me rather quickly; stick all that epistemological blather in Part Eight – “Summation”. It does need to be related to provide greater depth to the overall context, but putting it at the 'tail [tale?] end' allows it to processed after said overall context has been more or less absorbed.

~As I said above, I am pleased with this as it stands. [unchanged since 2/13]

Part Seven – “One Possible Future”

~A year ago I said, "I have thrown out all of Part Seven – “One Possible Future” and also Addendum A: [Tales of the Vekkan Cults]. That's about 38,000 words out the window, which cuts the present word count roughly in half. Well, I haven't really 'thrown them out', just removed them from The Explanation. They will mostly get posted in a separate volume of Sisterhood stories, though some may simply remain unfinished. [This is not the creation of an Apocrypha, but is more akin to The Suras, in that such is a form of 'commentary' that is still relevant to, and is in fact an enhancement of, Canon.]

This is my reasoning. Part Seven as it stood had become unwieldy; too many unfinished stories, too much rewriting to do, and, as so often happens with Science Fiction, much of the science has outstripped the fiction. Instead of trying to fix the whole mess, I have chosen to restart from square one.

About three months ago I started a new novella to take its place, with a single central character whose life covers the major epochs of The Sisterhood. I realized too that this will be more effective because, unlike the original Part Seven, it is a single narrative and therefore will flow more easily. With multiple stories and characters, there is the tendency to put the book down between tales.

With the removal of the multistory Part Seven, the rational for including Tales of the Vekkan Cults was largely gone. So, it needed go as well. [That moved the 'new' Addendum B and Addendum C up to Addendum A and Addendum B] /end

All that still applies. In the interim I have been slowly, but steadily working upon the aforementioned novella.

Part Eight – “Summation”
http://theexplanation-nebris.blogspot.com/2011/09/her-prophet-explains-part-seven.html

~I took a big chunk of the Summation and edited it into Part Two. I now need to re-expand it with some new material and also blend in the old Addendum C [The Individual and The Hive]. http://nebris.livejournal.com/7610428.html ...and then there is this:

~I had said back in Feb 2013, “At the moment, Part Four is where I am..well, not so much ‘stuck’ as deep ‘in process’. I said a while back: “I do cut myself some slack in that I’m doing a harsh critique of Victim Feminism, the damage done to the Feminist Movement by Andrea Dworkin and Catherine MacKinnan, how so-called Rape Culture is actually organic to Male thinking [Dworkin didn't go far enough in that regard] and a look at how Modern Feminism failed politically both with its support of Prohibition and its abandonment of basic Marxist thinking. At the root of nearly all of these issues is that Puritanism [always a tool of Patriarchy] is still deeply embedded in Modern American Feminist philosophy.” ”

Well, that was a fucking understatement. And, in the interim, I have also come to realize the need to weave in the work of Shulamith Firestone and Donna Haraway because both are essential to our Work. To leave their work unmentioned would create a massive blank space in the epistemology of The Temple.

Therefore, what I am facing here is critiquing and expounding upon the work of four of the most important Writers and Thinkers of Second Wave Feminism. To do what I need to do with their work requires some serious fucking Scholarship. *sigh* Effectively, at this point, I AM stuck..."

~Today [July 28, 2015]: I likely am still kind of 'stuck' in the above regard. A lot of 'serious fucking Scholarship' is still required, though no longer having to wedge it into Part Four will make my life far easier. The Summation has a much looser structure which will let me do 'plug in' without making too much of a mess.

E keeps shouting at me, “Finish The Book! Finish The Book! Finish The Book!”

~The past day was brutal...

~I found out around one o'clock yesterday morning that PR, a truly close friend of mine up here in The Desert, had died. We'd become very tight, very quickly as we'd both had long complex lives filled with death and loss. She was also strongly drawn to The Sisterhood and had become an Ally and Elder. I don't know what I shall do without her.

E keeps shouting at me, “Finish The Book! Finish The Book! Finish The Book!”

~Things have been very difficult with the two German Sisters. There is so much promise there, though I've always known it would take years of Work to get them to fully bloom. But yesterday the older one, after months of Positive Forward Motion, again became trapped by her demons, right on the heels of PR's death. Meanwhile, the younger one simply stopped talking to me a few months ago - 'ghosting' it's called - also trapped by her demons, from what her sibling tells me. I'm not even sure she exists anymore...

I will certainly persevere there, but with the loss of PR, who also saw the great promise in the two of them, and acted as Elder for me in my Work with them...I don't know what I'll do now....

E keeps shouting at me, “Finish The Book! Finish The Book! Finish The Book!”

~So once again I am faced with Failure. I'm probably suffering from real Depression right now as I'm largely numb, with bouts of weeping. I take care of myself because I know how to 'go through the motions'. But everything is gray.

E keeps shouting at me, “Finish The Book! Finish The Book! Finish The Book!”

~However, Le-Le has acquired a VR sim where she can create a virtual model of *Nedo Uno from The First Karaal and then use screen caps as illustrations for Part Five of The Liber Sorores. And I have been going over the text and see where I need to edit and what I still need to write.

So I suppose I should listen to E and 'finish The Book.' Otherwise, all I have to do is sit here and wait to die myself.

*Nedo Uno means 'Nest One' in Spanish. It would be the first a many structures built out here in the High Desert [and elsewhere eventually] that would house The Sisterhood. It's layout is four fifths subterranean with a wide opening at the top to provide light. It is designed to conserve water, a form of hydropolis and to protect residents from an increasingly harsh environment.

~This post is something of a Random/Her Prophet Speaks mashup because of the various elements involved.

We're once again in the process of restructuring our household finances to take some pressure off of ourselves, though I'm the one who seems to internalize that pressure the most...which then kills my writing.

Some of that pressure has already abated and my writing reemerged almost immediately. The form it has taken is a World War Two Sci-Fi novel, which is a double winner for yours truly. The events also make it Alt-History, but that is secondary.

Last summer I had a burst of writing that proved to me on a visceral level that I can in fact write 'novelistically'. That such was cut short by Buckethead's foot tumor is besides the point, though just as well as the work was Fan-Fic and therefore not marketable.

This baby is all mine, derivative though it may be. But it's also highly stealable, so I can't say anything about it publicly. Just believe when I say it's 'crafty' and it blowed up real good.

I'm doing my best to keep momentum going with this baby without burning myself out. Keeping it fun helps. However, the moodiness that comes with Creative Writing for me has already manifested itself, but that lets me know I'm on the right track.

This has also allowed me to look at The Explanation with something other than despair. Plus yesterday's big BIG rant was also a Good Sign. Now if I could just afford my favorite writing paradigm – sitting in coffee shops and greasy spoons to write – I'd be in Hog Heaven. But one thing at a time.

Regarding The Explanation, a Sister said a few months back that I should just focus on writing the thing and forget about Recruiting for now. I already knew that, but the reminder was salubrious.

What you, my Sisters, could do in the meantime that would expedite that process is to make Supportive Noises about the Work. One of you did just that on my Facebook Wall today and I cannot truly express how good that felt. More please...

..and that's the name of that tune.

~It has been a year and a half since I posted the last The State of "The Explanation". I had opened it by saying "that it is The Temple's primary project; a Philosophical Treatise, Practical How-To Manual and Grand Majickal Working all in one document. And that I suppose, put that way, I’ve done well by the thing in the past four and half [now six] years. And that I probably should give myself a bit more credit and a bit more slack, but then such was not the nature of being a Prophet. And then I 'sighed'."

After the sighing, I laid out the new order and titles, which are still largely unchanged. However, as you'll see, the word count has radically changed. I went on to explain that "the entrees at E Speaks are ‘finalized’, though I’m sure I’ll fiddle with them a bit more. [I have and will] The entrees at Blogspot are still being edited, rewritten, worked on, etc. except for The Trikona which I’m fairly happy with. The Addendums are complete as is. ~I was satisfied with this for a while, but after my 'retirement' and return, I'm..bugged, I guess. The flippancy grates a bit now. I'm not sure how much of it to rewrite, only that it needs some. 'Sighing' was also involved with this decision.

~I have thrown out all of Part Seven – “One Possible Future” and also Addendum A: [Tales of the Vekkan Cults].

[That moved the 'new' Addendum B and Addendum C up to Addendum A and Addendum B]

~I took a big chunk of the Summation and edited it into Part Two. I now need to re-expand it with some new material and also blend in the old Addendum C [The Individual and The Hive]. http://e-speaks.livejournal.com/107244.html [unchanged since 2/13]

~This morning I was awake for two whole hours passionately debating The Tranny Wars on one FB thread and Christian Sharia in America on another before I got up to make my coffee. When the exhaustion finally hit me – standing in the kitchen – I realized that this was a quite clear manifestation of my Avoidance, blathering on about subjects that do relate to the Work, but in a tangential fashion, basically a Diversion Strategy.

I shall now take some small action to rectify that....

Regarding the rest of The Explanation, Part Four: “Building a New Matriarchy – Grand Strategy” is still my most significant challenge. *sigh* Part Seven I can more or less pull out of my ass, but Part Four requires some fucking serious scholarly writing and, to honest, I'm not sure if I'm up to it. But I shall persevere.

..and so it is.

~Back near the end of September I snuck out of 'retirement'. You can read the details here. In the intervening two months I have not made any progress with the goals stated therein. But another 'retirement' is not on the table. Why bother really? It's kind of like the Mafia. Once one starts in with the Prophet Business, one never gets out. Ever. And so I have accepted that fate... grudgingly, of course.

So now what? The Matriarchal New Year was a few days ago and today is the Eve of the Gregorian New Year, hence this pondering. The Key is, as ever, to finish and publish The Explanation. That is my Primary Function as Her Prophet. All of the rest is up to The Sisterhood, whomever they may turn out to be.

The present Kitty Issue will be resolved, one way or another, in a few days. Goddess Willing, I get some emotional relief and be able to once again focus upon The Page. That really is the whole deal. I had reams of other things I was going to say, but upon reflection, they were all either 'finger pointing', 'sour grapes' or just plain fucking whining. And I am truly tired of all that...

...and so it is.

~In the past few days I had been having some concerns about my personal quote at the top of Part Three: The End Of Men:

"I am something Other, come to deconstruct and dismantle the present Social Order. But my targets are not merely The Judeo- Christlamic Father/God Cults, but also the weak willed Wicca and the phallo-centric pagans such as the crypto-Nazi Ásatrú. Simply put, I have come to End The Male."

It is true and I totally stand by it and...it IS a bit over the top even for me. Then, earlier this evening, I blurted out the following:

“The Male chooses War because that is his Nature, The Hunt expanded and transformed by abstract and existential concepts.”

The more I looked at the better I liked it, therefore the latter has now replaced the former.

And so it is....

..this is going into of the rewrite of Part Four: “Building a New Matriarchy – Grand Strategy”..

"There is the popular saying that we are 'not Human Beings having a Spiritual Experience, but Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience'. That is not exactly accurate. What we are is 'Spiritual Beings having a Biological Experience'. And it is our biology that drives us.

The modern concept of Romance is less than two hundred years old. It was created by a mostly upper class English aesthetic elite in the early 19th Century, the Romantics. [of course] But was very much in keeping with the Bourgeois sensibilities of the period, a faux-Naturalism that was in fact anti-Nature, a world view that has come to strangle us here in The West.

What is labeled Romantic Love is really a mostly biological mechanism that helps propagate the species and usually lasts about eighteen months or so, long enough to produce a pregnancy and bring it to term with a Male to 'stand guard'. The Male will be driven to dominate and impregnate, whether they are aware of that or not [usually not] any Female their subconscious sees as good breeding stock and their need is to 'possess' said Female until she has produced their child. This is a deeply embedded Survival Drive, one which Females have as well, the 'tick tick tick' of the Bio-Clock, one that gets louder as thirty draws nigh.

But the Romantics envisioned it as Grand Emotion State, one which they deeply fetishised. Though they largely eschewed Christianity, they had been steeped in it and this construct was founded upon their subsumed Christian rejection of the Flesh, which was seen as Base, and the accompanying drive for Purity. Much of the Romantic world view is asexual while being driven by Great Passion, which in turn is intensified by the suppression of sexual [biological] urges.

That is the anti-Nature aspect of the thing. The survival of the species requires sexual intercourse. And of course the Romantics did fuck like bunnies though mostly within the state of matrimony, which 'sanctified' all that fucking within a 'romantic' paradigm, the 'til death do us part' paradigm, which is also labeled 'Undying Love'.

Of course Modern Society has taken that paradigm and run with it for all its worth. Modern Corporate Marketing Culture has turned it into a mechanism of Emotional Enmeshment of vast Marketing Potential and it endlessly churns out songs, movies, novels, cards, 'how to find a perfect mate' books, and so on ad nauseum, all based upon an Ideal that is almost entirely fictional.

It can be exciting and intoxicating, but it always ends with a crash, because it is a 'high', and the higher you go, the harder the crash. It is perfectly crafted for Dreams, but very harsh in real life. Play in it if you like, but never live there. It will wreck you.

The way in which this creates a form of mass mental dis-ease is that we ignore or out right reject our biological nature and strive to make what is usually a temporary state into a permanent one. This level of culturally validated delusion leads to pain and frustration on a massive scale. It also leads to unplanned pregnancy, murder and suicide.

I suspect you, my Sisters, will rebel against all this Biological Destiny as it runs counter to nearly all of Modern Feminism, which has a very strong anti-sex foundation. But keep in mind that said paradigm also springs out of Patriarchy, which itself suppresses the Biological as a determining factor, at least for the Male. 'The Mind must Rule at all times' is a Male conceit, as is the need to transcend the Flesh, the Domain of The Feminine. The flip side of that conceit is that the Female is 'totally' ruled by Biology.

But there is great power in that Biology. The Feminist Writer and Divine Madwoman Valerie Solanas wrote about men, "he'll swim through a river of snot, wade nostril-deep through a mile of vomit, if he thinks there'll be a friendly pussy awaiting him." As has been stated earlier, we shall take advantage of that drive."

~In the past week or so I made the following statements:

"The most dangerous situation modern Feminism faces is that it is busy fighting for equality in a Social Order that is breaking down. Within that context, what specifically is the real worth of anything Feminism is actually going to be able to achieve?

This not at all defeatism or a call to surrender, but rather to take a hard look at the battlefield and at the goals for which we are fighting. If the existing Social Order is breaking down – which it clearly is – then does it not make more sense to work toward building an entirely new Social Order instead of fighting over the last scraps of the old one, which is after all, based wholly upon Patriarchy?"

..comment to a Sister who is presently volunteering at a rape crisis center..

"This has also reignited my thinking on how Rape Culture is a feature, not a bug, of Patriarchy. I know in my guts, in my fucking balls, how true that is. And how a lot of what I call Victim Feminism is a both an acknowledgment of that and yet also a denial of what that really means because it advocates 'half measures' in dealing with the logical harsh solutions. In the end, laws and social custom will not restrain our deep embedded desire you hunt you as sexual prey."

They are both part of my ongoing process of rewriting/editing Her Prophet Explains: Part Three “The Temple's Grand Strategy” that I mentioned in Blathers [V], where I said, "I do cut myself some slack in that I'm doing a harsh critique of Victim Feminism, the damage done to the Feminist Movement by Andrea Dworkin and Catherine MacKinnan, how so-called Rape Culture is actually organic to Male thinking [Dworkin didn't go far enough in that regard] and a look at how Modern Feminism failed politically both with its support of Prohibition and its abandonment of basic Marxist thinking. At the root of nearly all of these issues is that Puritanism [always a tool of Patriarchy] is still deeply embedded in Modern American Feminist philosophy."

And to justify my nagging concerns about 'getting that right', Layo got her panties all in a bunch over the 'sexual prey' remark, even though she's fully aware of the context and really should know better.

But that is a serious fear/anger driven Hot Button, the primary source of my slow going on that particular section and her [over]reaction pretty much proves that point. Oh well....

~Those who follow me on Twitter and/or Facebook will have noticed a lot of linking to old Temple/Explanation posts last night/this morning. That was me ramping myself up to start working on The Explanation again.

During the course of that exercise I came across the original version of “Basic Tenets”, which I had forgotten about completely. I did a bit of editing and liked the result so much that I decided that it shall go into The Explanation in between The Preface and Part One.

My logic here is that “Basic Tenets” will lay things out in a simple and straightforward fashion, which, while it might scare off some, will let the reader know what she is getting into right up front. The Sisters who keep going are really the ones we want anyway.

The thing has the additional benefit of being 'pamphlet ready'. And so it is...
